The Quiver School is a Montessori School inspired with a unique blend of the British EYFS framework and Nigerian curriculum to support an integrated approach to early learning and care. This framework gives our children the opportunity to work independently and encourages them to take an active role in their own learning.
Learning Opportunities
What Makes Us Standout
Children are exposed to a wide variety of learning opportunities during their time at The Quiver School. The children are provided with the opportunity to steer them towards thinking and developing their individual skills, interests and talents. Our curriculum also respects individual learning styles and ever-changing interests. Our learning goals are hinged on
- Children learning through play.
- Self-learning through various learning materials
- Teachers being adequately qualified to work with young children.
- The environment being well prepared: clean, safe and child-friendly.
- Appropriate adults to children ratio.
Assessments & Reports
Parents are encouraged to take an active part in their child’s learning and development and are involved in the assessment process on a regular, ongoing basis. Parents are provided with a regular update on their child’s portfolio which contains a summary of their child’s attainment against the Early Learning Goals (ELGs). The school reports your child’s progress to you in different ways, e.g. Bi-weekly Update on Portfolio, End-of-Term reports or Parents Teachers Meetings at the school.
The assessment process is designed to not only help ensure children make adequate progress through their school careers, but also informs academic planning, and measures our performance as a school. As end-of-year reports are handed out, the information lets parents get an idea of how their child is doing in accordance to their expected levels of development.
